Not a Rainbow

Nope, this isn't a rainbow. It's a rare ice halo called a circumhorizon arc. I had never seen one of these before; in fact, I had only learned about them less than a week prior to seeing it. My recent fascination with ice halos prompts me to watch the sky specifically when cirrus clouds are about, so when I walked out of church last Sunday and noticed lots of thin, high clouds, I looked up...and saw this. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera with me, so y'all are stuck with this poor-quality cell phone camera shot that doesn't even come close to showing the brilliant splendor of the real thing.
