My first "really good" piece of artwork I ever did. I still like it, though it has its faults.

Micron pen. 2001.

gah! Detail! :faint:

I'm insanely jealous right now. If I tried to do something with that much detail, the nice young men in their clean white coats would come and take me away o.O
 It's gorgeous!

this is amazing, but you should have uploaded a larger size image! i can tell there's a ton of detail everywhere but i wish i could really get in up close and see every stroke of the micron. still though, it's very impressive.

Thank you! :-]

There's a little bit larger image on my webpage: [link]. I used to have some zoomed-in (full detail) images with it, but I took those down. Maybe I should put them back up. ;)

*blush* Thank you! :)

Well, I don't like uploading entire images of high quality due to annoying art thieves, but I do occasionally put up small sections at near-full-size. :) I'll try to put some of those back up on my webpage.

if you want to protect your art, the best way to do it is by placing a watermark over the image, because even if you upload smaller versions, they'll still get ripped, trust me :P i just found some of my art ripped, and it was small, verrrry old, and a drawing done in mspaint, no less. just goes to show that it doesnt matter the quality or size, y'know?

Oh, I know it will still get ripped, but the higher-quality image it is, the easier it is for someone to say, make products with it. And the big problem with uploading very high quality images is that then it's much more difficult to prove that the artist is the true artist and not someone who somehow managed to get a high-quality copy. *shrug* I'm more worried about the latter, there, than of people just ripping my stuff 'cause I can easily prove it's my stuff.

And I'm doing watermarks now, so at least that much is taken care of. ;)

Sorry about your art getting ripped.... :shakefist:

yeah, you're definitely right. it just sucks that over the net someone can't actually see your work up close to really truly appreciate every detail. :/

and god knows how many other things i've had ripped and havent found yet... but i'm always on the lookout.

I haven't found any of mine yet (*knocks on wood*), but I'm sure there are some out there somewhere. I'll keep an eye out for ya. :)
